Wonderful article and a fine tribute to one gone far too soon. I saw Tom and the Heartbreakers in ‘85 and ‘87 (yeah, I’m old), and with the exception of Springsteen (obviously) and All Time Low (surprisingly) I cannot recall a better concert experience.
