Throwback Thursday: Halloween at The Last Word Bookstore
A novel excerpt
When I first began publishing the semi-regular Throwback Thursday articles, the main goal was to give my fiction a second chance at life; fiction on the whole struggles here so much that a second chance was the least I could do for it. Over time, it also became a way to point readers back to stories that fit a specific holiday or season of the year, stories that I had often written early in my time on this site when my number of followers was significantly lower (though there were also fewer bots, which was nice).
Because it is the spooky season again, today I get to combine the two and highlight a fiction piece from last October. Some of you have read it already, but (because it’s fiction) most have not. If you don’t want the Great Pumpkin to bring you a bag of rocks on Halloween, click on the link below.
