I can’t believe it’s been a year since I wrote this

While I am pleased that the occasional Throwback Thursday article I write draws attention to an older piece that some may have missed, today’s has thrown me into something of an existential crisis. No, not an existential crisis exactly; I don’t know what you call the crisis related to the passing of time and how much it seems to speed up as you get older. I’m sure there is a term for it, but I’m too lazy to look it up right now.

Anyway, as I was scrolling through some of my stories from this time last year, I came across this one: “Five Times the Soundtrack was Better Than the Film.” You can read it using the link below.

I stand by all of my choices there, even if (spoiler) including Eddie and the Cruisers will make Pierce McIntyre’s head explode (it’s a fun film, Pierce, but the soundtrack is so much better). I had a lot of fun writing this one, too. The only thing is, I could have sworn I wrote it in the late spring or early…
