There have been several times during my time here when I have felt like Buddy Gott and I are twins who were separated at birth. Besides being almost exactly the same age and having an inexplicable love for the film Grease 2, we will often write about the same subject at the same time with no prior discussion. Today was one of those days.

As I was working on Rate-A-Record #46, I received a notification that he had published a new story. Because I am easily distracted, I stopped writing, clicked on the notification, and saw his newest music piece was titled ‘There Should Be No Such Thing as ‘Guilty Pleasures’ In Music.” The story I was working on wasn’t exactly about guilty pleasures (though I did write a similar article about movies last year):
