Let’s end the month with a laugh
We’ve finally reached the end of July and good riddance to it. I was tempted to close out the month with a rant, but after being beaten down all month by the normal political nonsense, 58 days without rain in D/FW (and counting), and insane Springsteen ticket prices, I feel like something lighter is needed. Thusly and therefore, I am combining several prompts from the month into one grand Frankenstein’s monster of an article.
We start with a dash of the Rate-A-Record prompt that Terry Barr started last month and that has taken on a life of its own across the Medium musical landscape. Next, a pinch of the Great Earworm Songs prompt from Pierce McIntyre. Throw in a generous helping of a recent story about comedy songs that sum up life from David Acaster.
