It has become impossible to escape the talk about ChatGPT lately. The questions surrounding the newest technological marvel seem to break into three broad categories (and I have answers to all three):
- Will it be the salvation of mankind? No, that’s been done already; we celebrated the anniversary of the event last month.
- Will it destroy mankind? No, we can do that without any help.
- Will it make our kids a generation of illiterates? No, that ship pretty much sailed a while ago.
