Such a great way to start my Friday. I had actually only heard one of these before, Amy Macdonald's version of "Born to Run," which I like a lot. Also liked the EBTG and Phil Beer Band covers (their "No Surrender" would have fit well during the Seeger Sessions tour).

A big no to the Pet Shop Boys cover. As for Bowie, I love him, but also no.

One version I would add, also by an English band, is Frankie Goes To Hollywood's cover of "Born to Run." It sounds nuts, but it works.
