Sadly, this is what has happened in many churches here.

…l argue that the Church’s primary role is to provide spiritual guidance and support to its members. By delving into political matters, the Church may lose its focus on spiritual teachings and potentially alienate some of its followers with differing political views.

Sadly, this is what has happened in many churches here. They have essentially stopped being the Church and have become an extension of a political party.
