It is time once again for my monthly roundup of some of my favorite stories of the past 30 days or so, and I am ashamed to report that Reginald the Rigorous, Secretary to His Imperial Majesty Emperor Simon Dillon of the Dillon Empire, beat me to the punch with the Dillon Picks for this month. My list typically has only the advantage of an earlier release date, and since Reginald has taken the helm the gap in both quality and entertainment value has only widened. I will soldier on regardless.

There was one critical development that dear Reginald missed, however: Bruce Springsteen has announced a world tour with the E Street Band beginning in February 2023, and choirs of angels sang as the faithful of E Street nation rejoiced. But I digress.

It’s been a solid month for quality stories, despite the apparent plunge in views many of us seem to have experienced. Readership can be a fickle thing, but here’s hoping the summer provides views/reads/claps aplenty.
