I've been pondering your recent articles on this subject and am considering one myself from an American point of view. In the past we've tended to run about a generation behind Western Europe with these trends, but I'm not sure that still holds true. My view is also somewhat skewed by the fact I live in Texas, but I think your main point about belief in the Bible and the core, historic doctrines of the Faith being a key factor in whether or not a church thrives or dies is dead on.
