I only have music playing about half the time when I'm writing (I have no idea why that is) and what I play varies. Some albums in constant rotation would be The Smiths' Louder Than Bombs, 10,000 Maniacs' In My Tribe, Billy Joel's The Stranger, and anything by Bruce.
