Great piece! I remember the first time I heard “Guitar Town,” driving between Dallas and Waco, which seemed appropriate. My favorite of his is “Johnny Come Lately” with the Pogues. And if you never have, check out Robert Earl Keen’s cover of “Tom Ames’ Prayer.” Steve’s original is good, but the cover is amazing.
