Great article, and a tough question. Take Clerks (which you mentioned); is it still a cult classic almost 30 years later, or has Kevin Smith’s current place in the pop-culture pantheon changed that status to just classic? The only thing I know for sure is that when I read the title of this piece I immediately pictured Tim Curry as Dr. Frank N. Furter, so clearly I still think Rocky Horror is a cult film.
