Christmas is fast approaching, which means the lifespan of the innumerable Christmas articles here are about to come to an abrupt halt (at least for the next eleven months). Since I am not one to miss a last-chance opportunity, I thought I’d post one final holiday-themed music piece and combine it with a prompt I did earlier that is still making the rounds. That one was the “Each Letter of Your First Name Is a Song Challenge,” which I answered using all Gin Blossoms songs and all from their New Miserable Experience album.

I was sorely tempted to use my last name for that challenge since my first name has only four letters, but the boys from Tempe bailed me out. No such savior awaited me when I decided to do a Christmas song version; there simply aren’t any Christmas songs that start with the letter “u.” There are, however, a number that start with the letters of my last name; it’s a Christmas miracle.
