Excellent insights yet again, depressing though they may be. The myth of the exceptional, the rags-to-riches lie is why the 1% continue to rule as they do…because we actually believe we have a chance to be in that 1% if we work hard enough, so please don’t tear it down before we get there blah blah blah. I was surprised that there are even 2 counties in the US where you can live on the minimum wage.
