At least in Texas, there is one other thing that has contributed to this in addition to the things you listed: it's just not cool to attend a Baptist church if you're under a certain age. You want to go to a hip, non-denominational church called Elevate or Inspire or whatever. I have seen multiple SBC churches take the "Baptist" out of their name, and ultimately leave the denomination altogether.
