4th of July Flashback: 15 Rockin’ America-Themed Tunes for Your Independence Day
Some music to go with your beer and hot dogs
After yesterday’s semi-depressing story about what our Founding Fathers saw coming long before we did, I thought I’d lighten the mood on this 4th of July with some America-centric music. Unfortunately, I had the same bright idea last year and used up all the good songs in the process. I was terribly vexed.
Then, just like we got incredibly lucky beating the best army in the world 248 years ago, I got lucky with the day the holiday falls on: Thursday. You know how I love a good Throwback Thursday installment, even if they are inevitably an exercise in futility when it comes to giving life to an old article. Thus, I am sharing the story from last year here.
